Cryptid Cuts | Digital “Woodcuts”
Objective:
During the month of October, I challenged myself to draw “Thirty Days of Cryptids.” What do you know, three months later and I’ve only made thirteen… But those thirteen have successfully pulled me out of a design slump, and I feel more creative than ever!
Concept:
Coincidentally, I was exploring the world of the creepy while simultaneously getting into linocutting. These styles seemed to fit perfectly! After finishing the whole group of thirty, my next goal is to cut a block of each one.
