Concept:

I started with around twenty different badge silhouettes which, once narrowed down, provided an effective foundation for the new logo. The colors are slightly elevated versions of their sister brand’s. After a few rounds of revision, we decided a reusable sun motif would be beneficial to the brand, so that was worked in as well.
