The Space Child’s Mother Goose | Book Jacket
Objective:
We were tasked with creating a book jacket fit for The Space Child’s Mother Goose, a collection of children’s nursery rhymes with a sci-fi twist.
Concept:
Since most of these stories are innocent rhymes with an adult-level astrophysics theme, I was reminded of A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I decided to play on this juxtaposition of childlike and more serious. This found photography mixed with whimsical illustration was the result.
